Join Response Project (JR5) for Conflict-Affected People in Dar El Salam Locality
As part of our ongoing Join response project (JR5) to support IDPs in Dar El Salam locality, SOS Sahel Sudan has successfully distributed different WASH supplies to the vulnerable People across various IDPs centers.
Key achievements of the project so far include:
- Provided laundry soap to 1,100 households
- Provided empty jerry cans/20-liter capacity to 400 households
- Distributed mosquito nets to 200 households
- Dignity kits were received by adult girls at 200 households
- 500 households received multi-purpose cash assistance in terms of 520,000 SDG/hh, and additional 500 households are planned
These activities were implemented in close coordination with all relevant local stakeholders, including traditional leadership, the Emergency Technical Committee, and representatives of the IDPs.
We remain committed to supporting vulnerable families and strengthening community resilience through collaborative and inclusive humanitarian action.
