MPCA – Third Round, 50hhs (233 people) in Dibbatt Awaitaib village okar locality, Red Sea State.

SOS Sahel Sudan has delivered the third round of Multipurpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) in Dibbatt Awaitaib village, Tokar locality, Red Sea State, reaching 50 vulnerable households comprising 223 people.

Following two rounds distributed in July under the activated Anticipatory Action Plan, this third round continues support in line with the project’s MPCA standards.

Each round provides SDG 60,000 per person, a total of SDG 13,980,000 for the participating households.

Households were identified at the start of the project using agreed vulnerability criteria, with participation from locality authorities, the village committee and project staff. This advance preparation helps assistance reach households promptly when a crisis begins.

SOS Sahel Sudan and SCI are expected to extend assistance to three additional villages once funding becomes available.
