A team from SOS Sahel Sudan took part in the Strategic Acceleration Workshop for the SIPRA Consortium Program (Strengthening Inclusive Partnerships for Rainfed Agriculture), which includes SOS Sahel Sudan, World Relief (WR), and ZOA.

- The key SOS Sahel acceleration strategy:
- Implementing through local associations and committees
- Strengthening partnerships to ease mobility constraints
- Procuring project needs through local service providers whenever possible.
- Increasing the number of supported associations from 4 to 7 in White Nile
- Activating partnerships with the Ministry of Agriculture to seconding 2 agricultural engineers to support farming activities
- Re-allocating budget to the critical components like seed banks and small enterprise support
