Success Story from the Field
As part of the Start-Up Individual Support Initiative under the SIPRA project, one beneficiary shared his experience after receiving harvesting tools valued at approximately 4 million SDG. The support package included sacks, sickles, plastic sheets, and tarpaulins, enabling him to improve post-harvest handling and reduce losses. He explained how selling some of these tools enabled him to purchase additional equipment that supports production and benefits the wider community such as wheelbarrows and barrels. This reinvestment not only expanded his operational capacity but also created shared value for neighbouring farmers.
